What they don't tell you about life is, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. There will be good days, there will be bad days, and there will be days where all motivation leaves you. When I'm feeling unmotivated I start to read quotes that will hopefully get me back on track. Once I started doing that, I wanted to associate a specific quote with each day of the week for an extra boost of motivation. With that being said, here are seven quotes you can use to help you get through the week.
1. Motivational Monday: "Either you run the day or the day runs you." - Jim Rohn.
I totally understand that Mondays are absolutely dreadful, but they are just a state of mind and we shouldn't let that ruin the week for us.
2. Get Sh*T Done Tuesday: "You can't be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute." - Tina Fey.
Now that you've survived Monday, it's officially time to get down to business and you might as well defeat the Huns while you're at it.
3. Keep It Moving Wednesday: "Believe you can and you're halfway there." - Theodore Roosevelt.
It's hump day which means you're already halfway through the week. Keep your energy up and finish strong!
4. Reflective Thursday: "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan and guess what they have planned for you? Not much." - Jim Rohn.
Even though the week isn't over, Thursday is still a good day to reflect on how far you've come and how far you want to go.
5. Freaky Friday: "What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do." - Tim Ferris
Congratulations, you survived the work week. With the weekend approaching remember what's important and if you're scared of what's coming, you're most likely doing something right.
6. Social Saturday: "Saturdays Are For The Boys" - @FeitsBarstool or Some Old Guy.
After being hunkered down by work and school all week, it's nice to let loose and enjoy yourself. This recent social media craze has provided college students with many Instagram captions and decorative flags for their living rooms.
7. Sit Around Sunday: "Your calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges. So, relax." - Bryant McGill.
Sundays are slowly but surely becoming my favorite day of the week. It's a fresh start and a chance to improve from the week before. Sundays are also are a great day for relaxing and clearing your mind.
