“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” ― Rob Siltanen
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ― Margaret Mead
The fear of change has plagued our society for decades. From slavery to Jim Crow to the war on police brutality & excessive force, some in today's society has been oppressed so much that they don't believe in change.
The U.S. Presidential Elections are coming up. How can we make a change in terms of selecting our next President? I'll give you some suggestions:
1. GET EDUCATED. - Educate yourself about each Presidential candidate by going to their campaign sites and reading up on their causes.
2. REGISTER TO VOTE. - I know that this is a case-by-case situation, but if you are eligible to vote, REGISTER TO VOTE NOW.
3. VOTE!!! - Your vote is YOUR VOICE. Don't let your voice go to waste because if you do, a certain somebody (DONALD TRUMP) will become our next President.
STOP fearing change and BE the change. Stay woke, folks.
