Motivation: the single word itself even sounds difficult and makes people want to be lazy. Sometimes it's more satisfying to lay in bed and stuff your face with Oreos while watching Friends. That's great and all, but you need to do what's good for YOU. If you're not having fun or laughing throughout the day, you need to change what you're doing.

Motivation is the necessary key ingredient in so many aspects of life. Whether it be learning, working, or activity, motivation needs to be there! I guarantee you will feel better if you put even just a little more effort and pride into your actions and work. You're a masterpiece.

I've recently learned that motivation is so necessary during my college career. Everyone says that they will be motivated to do what they love and get things done...but are they actually going to do that? In most cases, definitely not. Honestly, I thought I was motivated last year while taking my general education requirements. I got a good GPA and felt successful. During the past few weeks, being in my Linguistics class and my Spanish class, I have felt so passionate about what I am studying. It makes me so happy. I get excited to go to class, and even do homework. I feel truly and genuinely motivated.

Motivation brings out that grit and drives in you, so go after it! If you're not in love with every day of your life, please change something, even one thing. It's not worth it to dwell on the past. I know going through tough times can really take a toll on you, but please go chase and capture what you enjoy. You know what you want, so go get what you want.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
