Sometimes lack of motivation can be your worst enemy. Juggling school, work, and a social life can overwhelm you; staying in bed seems like a much better idea most days. I definitely have struggled with motivation, causing my grades or life in general not where they should be. I told myself I wouldn't make a new years resolution this year, till I realized I needed to step my game up. This is the year of motivation, and bettering yourself. If you're anything like me, reading a simple quote can open your eyes. If you find yourself needing motivation or a push in the right direction, here's some quotes to help you out.

"Today, do 1% better than yesterday."

"You didn't come this far, to only come this far."

"Dreams are renewable no matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born."

"At some point, you have to get up and try to continue on with life, or else you'll be stuck in that phase forever."

"Your existence is a really big deal. Don't give up."

"It's up to you how far you'll go. If you don't try, you'll never know."

"Never be afraid or embarrassed to struggle. There is absolutely no shame in working hard to get to where you want to be."

"Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. Time will pass anyway."

"Don't stop until you're proud."

"Make it f*cking happen."

"If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you."

"A little progress each day adds up to big results."

"Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will."

"It's never too late to get your sh*t together."

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
