Happy mother's day!

The Unsung Heroes Of Our Society

To all the mothers in the world working incredibly hard every day for your families, this one is for you. Being a mom is one of the hardest and most underpaying jobs out there, so I've heard. I just want to let you know how much everyone appreciates the job that you all do every day.

Everyday a mom wakes up at the crack of dawn to help her kid(s) get ready to go out and conquer the day. She prepares breakfast for the family, makes sure the kids have everything they need for the day for school and after-school programs, and then is usually left with a sink full of dishes.

Moms are the ones who are always there for us no matter what they have been through during the day. Whether they've had a long day at work, or cleaned the house all day, or have been running all over town running errands, a mom is still always willing to listen to all of your problems, ask how your day went, and deal with her husband at the end of every day. A mom is the most patient person in the world and will never respond in a negative way to her child or her child's problems even after what might have been the toughest day of her life.

Moms are the ones who, in general, cook most of the meals, do the dishes, help the kids with their homework, and clean the house (which entails much more than we would actually think). They put up with so much, like kids fighting, husbands complaining about their day, kids struggling with homework or getting into trouble, and so much more.

A mom's love truly is unconditional. No matter what happens in a family's life a mom will always love her kids to the moon and back. Moms are always there for you no matter what happens in life, good or bad, and always just want the best for their children. Moms are the ones who are here for us when nobody else is.

To all the moms out there, you are the unsung heroes of our society. The world would basically just stop functioning without mothers. You do so much to keep your families going and happy every single day without pay, vacation, and sick days. It truly is amazing what mothers do. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, and I hope you all get treated extra special on your day.

Bob's Burgers

College is a time of gaining independence, exploring new things, and copious amounts of Netflix. If you're like me, you often find yourself laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of the situations you find yourself in. Here are ten times Bob's Burgers accurately captured college life.

1. What you're pretty sure your upstairs neighbors do at 3am every morning.

Supportive and spontaneous human beings are the best.

Theater Kids

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

You never know what's going to happen when you're dealing with theatre or what kind of characters you'll encounter. We have too much fun doing anything! One time in my senior year acting class, we spent an entire class period watching Bob's Burgers, and it was the greatest class period ever.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.
