Over the years, I have had so many teachers. I did the math, I've actually had up to 52. Some stood out, but not in a good way. But this letter is to the teacher who stood out to me in the best way and made a lasting impact on my life.

Thank you for being hard on me. Yes, I said it, even though you never thought you would hear it. Without you being hard on me, I would have never done as well as I did in your class. Thank you for telling me when I was wrong, but showing me how to fix it. Thank you for showing me how to be humble when receiving compliments on my work, this is something I'm glad I learned at a younger age - and all thanks to you. Thank you for never telling me, or treating me like I wasn't good enough. Too much of that is all around me in today's world and I'm glad I never received that from one of my biggest role models. Thank you for being one of my biggest role models, and sharing your career story with me, showing me that even the best struggled hard to be where they are at. Thank you for being sympathetic to the things going on in my life and understanding its very hard to go to school, and work full time.

With your guidance and multiple letters of reference, I found myself getting some good jobs, and creating new networks with people in our career field and I really thank you for that. You helped me advance not only my technical skills, but testing, interviewing, and business oriented skills - which in turn helped me achieve what I wanted to achieve throughout the past few years. Going from my senior year in high school with you, to going into my first year of college a whole year ahead of the game because of your advice and connections has also helped me save time and money, two things I never want to waste.

You've impacted my life in a huge and very positive way and I would not be the person I am today without you. I know I haven't been back to visit, but like I said earlier - thank you for being understanding of the fact that I go to school and work full time. I'll be back to visit soon, and I'm hoping to meet your current students and have the opportunity to talk to them about how much you have helped me and how you would do the same for them to see them succeed in all they do. Again, thank you for all you did for me, and for being the most influential teacher I've had in my life thus far.
