We all know too well the characters we become invested in that just die right before our eyes. I'm talking about books, TV shows and movies. Our favorite entertainment isn't always the happy ending, but instead the most tragic endings and plot lines that leave us drowning in our own tears. Here are the most tragic fictional deaths (in no particular order) that I will never, ever get over.

1. Denny Duquette (Grey's Anatomy)

No matter how many times I've seen this episode, I still cry like a baby every single time.

(Don't worry though he came back as the most infamous villain in Walking Dead)

2. JT Yorke (Degrassi TNG)

Just rip my heart out, why don't you? This was everyone's favorite character and he just dies, a horrible and sudden death. Not okay.

3. Lexie Grey and Mark Sloan (Grey's Anatomy)

I grouped these two together because they died from the same reason and it was horrible. Brutal. Emotional. Romantic. I cried for two days. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO GET MARRIED.

4. Bing Bong (Inside Out)

LIKE NO DISNEY NO. WHAT KIND OF TORTURE IS THIS?!

5. Mike Delfino (Desperate Housewives)

When I watched the series over again I had been dreading this moment from the first episode. When it finally came time for my favorite character to die I cried forever. I might still cry.

6. Ellie Fredricksen (Up)

This movie created one of the best love stories ever in the shortest time, and it still resonates deeply.

7. Jamie Sullivan (A Walk To Remember)

You go through the entire movie, getting attached to her, and then she dies at the very end leaving you with nothing but an empty box of tissues.

8. Caretaker (The Longest Yard)

He made you laugh, made you love his character, and then suddenly, dies. Of course.

9. Stoick The Vast (How To Train Your Dragon Two)

Now this one was just mean. Not only did he die but Toothless had to be the one to kill him?!

10. Mama Longneck (A Land Before Time)

Does anyone else remember this horrible moment from our childhoods? :( :( :( :(

11. Glenn Rhee (The Walking Dead)

Starting to wish the Denny didn't join walking dead...

12. Tyreese William (The Walking Dead)

One of the bravest, kindest and most humane characters on Walking Dead, so of course they had to kill him off.

13. Cedric Diggory (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

HE DIED ONLY TO BECOME A VAMPIRE. SERIOUSLY? NO. HE IS A WIZARD DAMMIT.

14. Derek Shepherd (Grey's Anatomy)

Just, no.

15. Ray (The Princess and the Frog)

This was a BRUTAL disney death. So vivid, so cruel, so intimate.

16. Noah and Allie (The Notebook)

I feel like romantic movies are really just a sick form of torture.

So there you have it, some of the most memorable and horrible deaths of my favorite characters that I had become all too attached to.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
