Oh how time flies and how time bring changes.

A perfect example is how our routine changes once we are out of the house because we don't have our mommies enforcing them on us anymore. In high school, it was important that we looked our very best because we want to be well-liked. In college however, all we care about is getting that degree even if we look like a slob.

Let's look at what the high school morning routine looked like for most people.

1. Getting up around 5-6 in the morning when school starts at 7:30

2. Putting on our nicest outfits that we've planned in a week in advanced. Most of these clothes come from Forever 21 or other high-end stores.

Had to make sure that we look like someone that came off of a tumblr page.

3. Putting on make up which includes but not limited to, foundation, contour, highlights, liquid eyeliner, concealer, eye shadow and lipstick from Kylie Jenner.

We have spent hours watching make up tutorials over the summer and made sure that we are doing them just right.

4. And finally, having a nice breakfast, if you are lucky.

College

You think that you can maintain this routine in college, but once the realities of college starts to hit you, you slowly and surely start to change things up just a little bit.

1. Stay in bed until there is only 10 minutes left to get ready.

2. Throw on a t-shirt and shorts.

3. Make sure your hair is combed and looks decent and at LEAST brush your teeth and wear deodorant.

4. Look in the mirror and think to yourself:

But hey, in college, WHO CARES? We all know how tired we all are, who has time to care about popularity am I right?

The end.
