The days I don't get my morning coffee my day doesn't seem to start out right. I enjoy my morning coffee and there is more than one reason, but here are a few if anyone wants to know why you must have that morning mug.

1. You can get coffee anywhere.

I travel a lot and I have not found one place in my travels that I cannot get a cup of coffee. Most anywhere I go they even have coffee in the hotel room ready for me before I have to face my day.

2. Coffee Has Options

If you are not a black coffee drinker there are many other options to drink. Latte, Macchiato, Americano, Cold Brew, or regular are among the options. Any type of drink you like you can find your favorite coffee beverage brewed to perfection.

3. It is healthier than energy drinks.

There are plenty of energy drinks that spout claims of being natural and healthy for you. The truth is if you look at their ingredients list it is a long one. The benefit of brewed coffee, the ingredient list is rather short, ground coffee beans and water. If you are on a health kick, coffee is the energy drink go to.

4. It is relaxing.

There is nothing better than on a slow morning to sip a hot cup of coffee. Be it at home, at work, or on the beach, the slow sipping makes you take a moment to enjoy it.

5. The Mugs

I have a collection of mugs, so many that my husband has started to put a limit to my new cup purchases. Any good coffee drinker knows that it has to be the perfect mug. There are days when one mug isn't right, and I need a different one. It is all about the mood.

6. The day starts better.

I am a night owl, so I am a slow start person when it comes to the morning. Holding a steaming mug of coffee and breathing it in helps to start my day.

7. Routine is good

Giphy

I am the type of person who likes spontaneity. I like to get up and go and travel. I have spent many mornings in different states or cities. The constant is my morning routine of coffee.

8. It fits into your morning no matter what time you wake up.

Giphy

The types of coffee available make any time your morning is good for coffee. Having worked night shift there were times my morning was at 3pm. Arizona summers at 3pm, iced coffee is a much cooler option than hot coffee.

9. Coffee fits any budget.

Giphy

The expensive coffees are not for everyone but they are not the only place to get them. Many places serve brewed coffee for $1, some places even serve lattes for $2-3. If you know where to go you can find a good coffee for a good price.

Anyway, anywhere you have your coffee, raise a mug and enjoy!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
