During the first Presidential debate, Hillary attacked Trump over his comments toward Alicia Machado, a beauty pageant, winner years ago. This girl, who was under contract and required to maintain a certain appearance, was told by Trump to stay a certain weight, and he spoke negatively of her when she started gaining weight during this contract period.

Hillary calls this an attack on women, but she has been far more hostile to women than Trump could ever be.

Trump has given women executive positions in his company. He was the first to place a woman in charge of building a skyscraper in New York City. Ivanka, his oldest daughter, is a perfect representation of how Trump has empowered women to achieve lofty goals throughout his business career.

Hillary, on the other hand, defended her husband when he sexually assaulted other women and tried to silence the victims. He was impeached for sexual misconduct, yet Hillary has never claimed that he is in a war on women. The Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton's political offices also pay women less than men for equal work.

On top of that, Hillary Clinton receives money from and gives money to Middle Eastern countries who think women's rights are a joke. In many of these countries, women are property of their husband, required to cover themselves completely, denied a right to speak, and can even be stoned.

Even beyond her record with women, Hillary has compromised national security, lied under oath, defended child molesters during her time as a lawyer, and gotten American servicemen and an ambassador killed.

But yes, let's all worry because Trump told a woman she was fat twenty years ago.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
