One More Thing For Election Day

Neo-Nazis are trying to bribe black voters with drugs and alcohol to vote Trump.

As Election Day comes up, Trump supporters pull all the last stops in an attempt to get "America's Only Hope" to win the presidential election. In the midst of all the email investigating, dirt throwing ad campaigns, fear-mongering, and Internet comment trolling, there's one more thing that some Trump-supporters are pulling out of their sleeve.

According to Politico, in an email, Neo-Nazi leader Andrew Anglin, editor of the Daily Stormer, plans on having poll watchers across all 50 states in an attempt to stop "voter fraud" at the polls. His friends at The Right Side are also planning on scouting "urban" areas, or the "ghetto," in Philadelphia and setting up hidden cameras in voter booths to catch voter fraud in the name of Trump. In his eyes, black voters are more susceptible to these types of behavior, and they'd like to keep this election as white as their xenophobic pride.

“We also have some teams going into the ghettos in Philly with 40s and weed to give out to the local residents, which we think will lead to more of them staying home. We have had success with this in the past,” wrote the representative of TheRightStuff.biz, who said four teams of two employed this tactic in Detroit during the Democratic primary in an effort to help Bernie Sanders. “40s” are 40-ounce bottles of malt liquor. POLITICO could not independently verify his claims.

Weed and 40s. Yeah, that's all we want in life. That's usually all it takes for us to not vote.

Well, I cannot speak for everyone, but that wouldn't work for most people. If this were to actually be happening, let's also think about the fact that anyone who looks remotely suspicious in the hood usually gets questioned by somebody. People would also take the weed and alcohol, and check "Hillary Clinton" anyway. We would also vote angrily ANYWAY because we wouldn't want to give a racist the satisfaction. There are just so many things wrong with this. Most of us know that Trump is a racist, sexist, perverted, ignorant, homophobic, xenophobic being. But then you have those like Ben Carson, and these two:

If it wasn't clear before, this is them preying on the Black Community because we must be obviously that dumb. Don't be dumb. Just please go vote against this man. I personally don't trust any of the top two candidates. I believe in third-parties but this is not the time for a third-party vote. I repeat THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR A THIRD-PARTY VOTE. Too many things are at stake, too much freedom is at stake. Don't think only of yourself. It may seem like our votes don't matter, but it matters at least a little. Why take that chance?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
