In case you missed how I prepped or why I'm doing this - check out my first week and my prep week here:
A Month Of Bullet Journaling: The Prep
A Month Of Bullet Journaling: Week One
A Month Of Bullet Journaling: Week Two
Anyways.
This week I wanted to dedicate everything to finding a layout I would use because I wasn't actually using the previous ones. Plus, figuring out how to add things throughout the week was hell.
LIKES
- This design worked for being able to put things together. I had a place to put tasks for the week, for specific days, and I could even glance and know where I needed to be at what time.
- Having two whole pages was really helpful! More space meant I didn't have to screw myself over trying to write a note.
- I came back to thing page almost daily. I didn't always remember to check off everything, but I did feel like I accomplished a lot more because I was constantly reminded of things on this page.
DISLIKES
- I wish I had a different notebook. The spirals didn't work too well for thing one.
- The design overall for this page could be hella improved. It was OK for this, but I think I would want to put a lot more effort into it if I did this on the reg.
Week Four
This week I wanted to stick with the two page layout and see if it was really beneficial to have more space. Would it really make me continue to use the planner daily?
I wanted to adapt the original idea from the bullet journal where you take a task on one day and move it to the next day. The video here explains everything in detail!
In addition to my weekly layout this week, I also intend of starting a habit tracker. A lot of people have found them useful in many ways, so why not give that a try to!
Stay tuned next week for my very last article in this series reviewing the whole process.
