12 Times Brooke Davis And Peyton Sawyer Were Friendship Goals

"One Tree Hill" gave us a lot of things: Lucas Scott, Karen's Cafe, psycho Derek, and Naley. It also introduced us to Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis, arguably the most loved character on the show. Who's Brooke Davis without Peyton Sawyer? The show also gave us Hilarie Burton as Peyton Sawyer. These two may just be the greatest pair of TV best friends ever (OK, they are competing against Cristina and Meredith for that title).

Peyton and Brooke are loyal, honest, sarcastic, and selfless, which are qualities every friendship should have. Often times they are one of the core relationships on the show (aside from Nathan and Haley of course).

Here are a few moments that make you want to emulate Peyton and Brooke's friendship:

1. Their nicknames for each other.

Friends always have nicknames for each other. Ironically, B Davis and P Sawyer flowed perfectly.

2. When Peyton relayed what Lucas said.

Peyton and Brooke were no where near being on speaking terms, but Peyton still did something she knew would make Brooke happy while breaking her own heart. That kind of selflessness is enviable.

3. Their 'couple' costumes.

Best friends have to do this at least once in their lives.

4. When Brooke went back for Peyton on prom night.

Nothing says true friendship like fighting psycho Derek together.

5. Their spontaneous adventures.

Adventures like stealing Mr. Davis' boat and skinny dipping.

6. Sawyer's middle name is Brooke.

Peyton paid tribute to her best friend in the ultimate way.

7. Being the other's shoulder to cry on.

Best friends can fix almost anything. Even if you're not the affectionate kind of friends this is still something you aspire to.

8. Brooke came back to Tree Hill for Peyton.

Another sign of true friendship is jeopardizing your multi-million dollar fashion line for your best friend's love life.

9. When Peyton changed Brooke's mirror after the attack.

Best friends always know what will make you feel better when you're at your worst.

10. The time Peyton threatened Julian for Brooke.

Every best friend has made this threat (or at least thought about making it) once in their lives.

11. Even when they're fighting. They're looking out for each other.

Even though they weren't on speaking terms, they asked Lucas and Haley to look out for the other one.

12. Peyton's video to an unborn Sawyer.

"My best friend –OK this one is so important; choose wisely, I got really lucky with mine. My best friend is funny, intelligent, creative, beautiful, and successful, and very kind. She’s also impulsive, frustrating, um complicated, childish, but I would not have her any other way. And the best part about Brooke Davis is that she always puts friends first. So if you are ever in any kind of trouble, you know who to call. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have watching over you." Here's the full quote because it was too long to fit in a gif, but too important not to share. They really appreciate each other; both the good and bad qualities.

There are so many more moments on the show when Peyton and Brooke depicted the meaning of true friendship, way too many to include in this article. These are only a few, but definitely a few of the most important times.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
