In every group of friends, there is always a Monica! You're the mom of your group: looking out for your friends and trying to make them happy. Although you get too competitive at times, you are still the sweetest person! Here are eleven signs that say you are the Monica in your circle:

1. You are hardworking and independent

You are incredibly talented and passionate about your job. You know how to take care of yourself and the people who mean a lot to you. And when it comes to hard work, you know you will get rewarded for it.

2. You love to be in charge

You love being the head of your group. You are always the hostess and you are the glue that holds your group together. You are in charge of making sure you have a classy party every single time. You have this super organizational skill that you are always eager to show off!

3. You have to be right every time and you are pretty competitive about this

Yes, you never like to admit that you are wrong. Well, it's because you usually are right. And you can't stand it when someone else is better than you.

4. Rules are goood

If there were no rules, everything would be so dull probably. You like to do everything in an organized manner which probably irritates many friends in your group.

5. You HAVE to please people

You can't stand it when people are mad at you. You got this attitude where you need to impress people. And when someone doesn't give you enough credit, you start doubting yourself.

6. Cleaning is your happy thing

Whenever you are sad, cleaning is the thing to cheer you up. And, you can't stand dirt. Even though it is someone else's mess.

7. You used to be not-so-cool...

You are probably aware of it. You have these dance moves that would probably embarrass your friends now.

8. You're always thoughtful of others

You care about other people's feelings and try to comfort them no matter what. You give them space when needed and make every possible effort to make them happy.

9. Well, not always...

At times, you tend to be a little selfish. To get things done, you might go an extra step to think more about yourself.

10. You believe in lifelong relationships

You know that you are going to find your Chandler sooner or later. And once you find him, he is gonna be everything you will ever need.

11. You are the greatest friend one can ever have

You might be a little high maintenance but you are by far the most honest and loving friend. You will be there to hold others at good and bad times. Your friends are lucky to have you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
