1. You take it upon yourself to plan almost every get-together for the group.

It's what you do. Even though you might act like you're tired of it at times, everyone knows you love being in charge.

2. You tend to always be the last person there, considering you eagerly volunteer for clean-up duty.

This could be because you need everything back exactly how it was, but either way, the effort you put in to these events is not measurable.

3. Your friends always come to you for your great advice, however, they rarely -- if ever -- follow what you tell them they should do.

Whatever. They can't say you didn't warn them.

4. You love rubbing it in their faces when you were right, and they didn't listen.

You gave them the correct path to take, and they ignored you. Now you have no reason to hold back on your mockery.

5. You love your friends to the point that you aren't scared to be brutally honest with them.

You aren't afraid to speak your mind, especially if it's what will be best long term for your friend. You love them, but you're willing to set that aside momentarily to get real.

6. You'll stick up for yourself, but even more often for your pals.

Nobody messes with your squad. You're a bit headstrong and will always stick up for yourself, but when it comes to your friends, you're downright fierce.

7. Although you lead an organized and slightly uptight lifestyle, you know how to let loose and be silly.

The seemingly most uptight people always know how to let loose and be a little crazy. You are no exception, and are always up for a good laugh.

8. You LOVE winning.

I cannot emphasize enough how competitive you are. Playing "just for fun" isn't even a possibility for you.

9. In fact, you don't take losing well... At all.

You may try to act chill and like it's no big deal, but there is a literal laser ready to shoot from your eyes at any given moment.

10. Your friends love you in spite of your quirks, because your attention to detail and honest nature make you an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate person.

Yeah, you might be a bit overbearing, but that just means you have insanely good attention to detail. You know the best way to comfort people and give the best gifts.

11. Overall, you're the loving mother figure of the group, and no one would want it any other way.

You would do absolutely anything for your friends, and will always love and appreciate them. Even though they might not act like it sometimes, they can't get enough of you.

12. When people tell you how awesome you are, there's only one response deemed appropriate.

Your awesomeness is just obvious. No need to reiterate.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
