Karen Marie Ørsted AKA MØ is one of the fastest freshly pop stars on the planet, she has been involved into a magic double “Cold Water” and “Lean On” with Major Lazer, after she shown to the entirely world her amazing and outstanding talent with the debut album “No Mythologies to Follow”, released in 2014.

Her latest song “Drum” is the follow up to the global hit “Final Song” and was debuted as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in The World on BBC Radio, now, Drum has got its visual part which is in streaming and via Chess Club / RCA Victor and Sony Music Australia.

The video was shot on Ibiza and it was directed by Georgia Hudson (who shot also “Don’t Wanna Dance” in 2014, as well as promos for Ellie Goulding, Izzy Bizu and Sigma & Take That).
Karen says:

“The video tells a story about moving forward and letting go of the past, even though it sucks and we sometimes don’t understand our own decisions – we have to go through with them in order to grow.”

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything.
