It's no secret that Monday's are generally the most hated day of the week. Whether you are a morning person or not, there are ample reasons to dislike the first day since the weekend and dread getting out of bed. For me, the worst part is that original alarm that basically screams "your fun is over time to head back to reality" and reminds you that Monday has arrived. If you like Monday's, good for you; just accept the fact that one or more of these GIF's have been you at some point in your life, even if it's not this Monday.
1.When you hear the first alarm.
Set a minimum 30 minutes early to ensure you actually get out of bed on time, obviously and it makes you want to scream, roll back over and go to sleep all day, never having to leave your bed.
2. When you keep hitting snooze until you finally wake up and realize you're about to be late.
3. When you have no choice but to cram for the test you didn't study for all weekend but also have to eat breakfast to get through your day at school.
4. When you're driving to school knowing that you are about to be so incredibly late and that you are dreading this day before it's even really begun.
5. When you are forced to walk into school late but try to play it cool by not running or walking into class sweating so that it looks like you actually have your stuff together.
6. Showing up late to class and everyone staring at you....at this point, there is no "playing it cool".
7. When you walk right into a quiz that you are way unprepared for.
8. When you hear the kids in your class talk about how prepared they are... and how they have been studying all weekend, thus probably ruining the curve.
9. You make it to your next class and think things couldn't get worse until the teacher calls on you.
Of course, on Monday, when you have absolutely no idea what you learned last week because that seems decades ago. So, you try very hard to think of something to say... and come up with this.
10. When lunchtime finally rolls around and you can't help but stress eat because of the morning that you just had.
11. You are half way done with the day and then you hear someone say how very much they love Mondays.
Good for you, man.
12. Walking into another class realizing you didn't do the required readings and will most likely look like an idiot during the discussion.
"But professor, I had no time to read over the weekend!"
13. Finally, you are finishing up your day and realizing that now not only is Monday's homework in the picture, but also tons of makeup work from everything that you failed to do over the weekend.
And there you have it, Monday's just about summed up. The best part is, no matter how many Monday's you experience these situations with, you never change your ways. Every Monday is still the same until finally you get to college and find a way to start your week on a TUESDAY.
