Highlighted Moments Of The 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is one of the top nights in fashion. Beautiful women modeling the most respectable products in the industry. Every year is different and this one didn't stray from the usual excitement. However, there are a few moments in particular that truly got me. Get ready to look through an article filled with some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Let's talk about Adrianna Lima, shall we?

This was her 16th show. Every year since 2000 she has strutted herself down the runway. First of all, props to her for keeping it so well together, as she's had two kids. Second, she truly knows how to please a crowd, as she has an energy on the catwalk like no other. See you next year (probably), Adrianna!

Also, Victoria's Secret is really important

For the models, at least. Being in the show means you'll have a major increase in opportunities from music videos, to magazine covers, to film. This show could mean a whole new career for these models. Congrats, girls, you have a bright future ahead!

Gigi Hadid's wardrobe malfunction

No worries, Gigi, because *spoiler*, you're still absolutely gorgeous and worked that runway like no other. In this strappy ensemble, one rebellious piece of fabric decided to break away in front of everyone as she walked down the catwalk. I still say that this look was one of my favorites and think a lot of people would agree.

The importance of health in the show

I have major respect for this being included in the show's extra footage. This year, the biggest point of the show was that these girls were proud because they, "worked really hard for it." For the average Jane Doe like myself, I used to ask myself, "how on Earth do you do that?" Well that was answered for me consistently throughout the show. These girls are absolutely beautiful, some of the most beautiful in the world, but they weren't born that way. Months before the show they work out: boxing, running, gymnastics, pilates, yoga, swimming, you name it. These girls work hard and one in particular made said the most important thing of the evening. The modeling industry is no longer the place where, "rockstar," stick-thin and drugged out looking models walking down the runway. Now, we look towards health being the most important: models that promote the image of healthy skin, muscles, and a happy demeanor. The type of models we see today is a huge change from what we used to be exposed to as a society. I respect these girls for making sure the world knew they worked extra hard for their position. For any girl watching and feeling down because they weren't born that way. Newsflash: neither were these girls.

Also, the wings started some real talk

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid got their wings! As a fan, i'm very proud of these ladies, but not many are. Many believe they didn't earn their wings as it's only their second show. Regardless, they rocked some amazing looks and strutted down the runway in a pair of wings that most girls dream of. Wings were a bigger portion of talk around the show this year because the show also made some history. This year presented the biggest wings in their history of the show. Real talk, the wings were gorgeous and definitely deserved the attention.

The Fantasy Bra was actually not exciting

Jasmine Tookes rocked the Fantasy Bra (which was a whopping $3 million dollars) this year. The bra itself is absolutely gorgeous, but down the catwalk we didn't get too much of it. For how big the Fantasy Bra is to the show, it was barely shown on the screen. Maybe next time the bra will get more screen time.

Lastly, the real reason you clicked on this article:

I love the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and watch it every year, but I made sure to see this show because of what had been spoiled on social media recently. A little history: Bella Hadid and The Weeknd ended their two year relationship before the show that they were both scheduled to perform in. A little history about me: I'm broken in two because they have split.

This moment was also important because what woman wouldn't wish to look like a Victoria Secret Model in front of their ex after a breakup? Bella, you are living the dream we all want to experience one day.

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
