7 Reasons Why My Mom Is My Best Friend

In This Article:

Coming to college was rough at first, not going to lie. But after many many calls and texts to and from mama, i realized that she'll always be my go to person.

1. She's the first person I call when I have a bad day.

Sometimes Facetime calls with her is all it takes to boost my mood a little.

2. She's the first person I call when I have a good day.

Whether I tell her that I passed my exam or just got a question right in class, she's always just as excited as I am.

3. She's the really the only person I call for anything.

I can't count how many times I have been like "Oh, I'm just going to the post office and I'm bored" because I need attention.

4. She ALWAYS believes in me.

Giphy

On my bad days, she always tries her absolute hardest to get me out of my slump. She's my personal cheerleader.

5. I can trust her with anything.

Giphy

"So like this happened but you can't tell anyone" and whatever it is will always stay between us.

6. She may not like to admit it at times, but I'm just like her.

Giphy

All the sass and attitude, I got from her.

7. No matter how hard I try,  I can't stay mad at her.

Like true best friends, we have petty little arguments; however, I can never hold a grudge.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
