Mom Is Always Right

No matter the situation, mom is always right!

Mom Is Always Right
Madeline Grumieaux

Last night, my roommate and I had a talk about how for whatever reason, our moms seem to be right about absolutely everything. Maybe once a child is born, there is automatic knowledge that is given to that new mother. Or maybe there is a book a knowledge, kinda like the dad handbook that I have been told about for years on end (I still haven't found it in our house). However this knowledge is handed down, I know one thing for sure...mom is always right.

No matter what the issue is, my mom always knows the answer. One thing that my mom and I always joke about is how she picked out every single dress for my school dances. How is this even possible?! That is one of the many situations where my mom is always right.

Another situation, which happened just this week showed me that my mom is always right. I was given medicine that could have some nasty side affects. My mom didn't want me to take it because of those side affects, but finally I talked her into it after telling her how much pain I was in. Low and behold, let's just say mom was right. I will never be taking that medicine again.

Setting aside my prior reasons that my mom is always right, let it be known that one thing she is always right about is saying that everything is going to be OK and that we will make it work. Mom knows how to put me at ease when I'm worried.

Anyways, this article is to show you that no matter your age, your mom is always there for you. Your mom is also always right. Embrace being wrong in situations and make sure you listen to your momma.

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.
