College, like "Modern Family" lines, can be dramatic. A lot can happen in a day, bringing loads of emotions (both positive and negative). Some days you just want to smack the guy behind you for his ridiculous gum chewing, while other times you just want to be anywhere but in class. Would it be possible to transport myself from this lecture hall to my dorm room, or even better, to my house? Below are a few "Modern Family" lines that most college kids can relate to on a daily basis.
1. When your alarm goes off an hour before your morning class.
Why did I think I could handle morning classes? Especially on a Monday!
2. When your in class and you have another two hours before you can get food and go back to your room.
3. When you're taking a major test that you've been stressing out over for days, and the kid behind you won't stop obnoxiously smacking his gum.
I'm already unprepared for this test; I don't need your unnecessary chewing to distract me.
4. When you are trying to participate in math class but your brain is exhausted.
5. When you shout out a random answer and it turns out to be correct.
6. When it's finally lunch time, but you have no friends to eat with.
Don't mind me, just going to grab this salad and bring it back to my room so no one sees how lonely I am.
7. When your laptop dies while you're writing an essay, and you turn your laptop back on to find that none of your masterpiece saved.
Could today get any worse?
8. When you eventually rewrite your essay and email it to your professor for feedback, completely forgetting that she can see your document's title.
Do you think I'll lose points for that? Oops.
9. When your roommate comes back from class and tells you the name of her new crush.
They don't refer to me as Gossip Queen for nothing. I can tell you everything about his spring break trip to Florida.
