10 Things I Miss About Home

With the semester dragging on, midterms in full swing, colder days ahead, and Thanksgiving still three or so weeks away; going home seems almost unattainable. For a Long Islander that goes to school upstate ,leaving just for a weekend isn't really a feasible option. Here are some things that I'm truly missing.


1. Being able to cook for myself.

2. Hanging out with my dog.


3. Watching Food Network with my mom. C'mon, who doesn't love Chopped?

4. Getting together with my friends from high school.

5. The beach.

6. Pizza, bagels, and Chinese food.

7. Oddly enough, driving my brother around.

8. Going out to dinner with my grandma at my favorite restaurant.

9. Having my own room.

10. Long Island.
