An unknown author once said; "Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean i miss you until we meet again."
Mary. R. was not just a friend, nor professor. She was a daughter, an aunt, godmother, niece, cousin, granddaughter, wife, sister, stepmother, and colleague. l remember when I met Mary. It was at the end of class when I first started to meet you. We bonded over a stapler. I remember one class time when spelled out;"dilligara?" One girl asked what that meant and you said: "Do I look like I give a rats ass?" Everyone was laughing including me.I remember. I stayed after class everyday to talk to you. And we became close right after.
There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss you and think of you. You taught me so much, but you did not teach me how to live without you. You were always the sweetest. I know you are watching over me every minute because i feel you here with me.
I will always remember our nonstop conversations we always had and our jokes. I know you are proud of me.
These last few weeks without you have been very hard.
Rest In Peace, Mary
