Woman, embodying grace and beauty.
Her feet gliding elegantly across the floor
as if floating rather than dancing.
Calm, strong words speak truth
as her voice echoes beyond the podium
into the ears of onlookers
with their hands glues to their chairs,
eyes and minds wide open
begging for the next word.
Beloved human, mother in person and name,
you give us visions of glory and wonder;
words and lessons to be handled with care,
they are for the future,
for we may not know enough just yet.
Your very presence bring wonder to a room
as your collective being astounds all those around you.
Your smile is unlike most many.
It has an air of pure joy that has been lost in the world,
with little hope left for it to be found.
Oh, and when you speak,
it is as if the world pauses, just for a moment,
just for you.
You have touched so many,
and changed so much,
that I pity those who may not know your wonder.
