We all have seen those movies, the ones where you watch them and you are still thinking about them after the screen goes dark, asking yourself a series of questions. “What just happened?” “So did she die?” “Wait, did they figure it out?” Some questions along those lines may be the first to pop into your head.

These movies are the movies that stand out, the topic of party conversation, a hot topic on social media and so on. Movies like these show the true power of filmmaking, the art of being immersed in a mystery or a thriller, or even a true story. A movie that you are still reeling from even after it is done. We all have seen movies like this. I have seen a few, and I wanted to share them with you. If you want to watch a movie where you have to think, want to be confused or even freaked out... Here is the list for you.

Inception

A mind-bending movie list would be virtually incomplete without this Christopher Nolan soon-to-be classic. Inception rattled the brains of viewers, people emerging from theaters saying "Was it a dream inside of a dream? Or a dream inside of dream inside of another dream?" Woo, talk about a tongue twister. This movie is definitely one worth watching, but play close attention if you miss a few minutes, you may have to utilize that rewind button.

Gone Girl

When I went and saw this movie in theaters, there was an audible "holy sh*t" said in the audience at one scene. This was a movie where you go in not knowing what to expect, and when you come out you are in complete shock. I highly recommend this movie. Trust me, you will not be let down.

Interstellar

Another Christopher Nolan production has made its way on the list. Interstellar may have seemed like a typical space movie to begin with, but boy is it far from it. Matthew McConaughey hits the nail on the head with this movie. I actually walked out of the theater and my chest hurt from how stressed and tense I was. So fair warning, stressful, but an excellent movie.

The Game

If you ever question watching this movie, just look at the actors who are in it. Michael Douglas and Sean Penn completely knock it out of the park with this puzzle. Throughout the movie you will be asking question upon question only to find out, what you thought was going to happen next doesn't. Only something more crazy does.

Prisoners

Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman, Paul Dano, Terrence Howard, and more top notch actors take home the gold with "Prisoners." The climatic trailer already leaves you speechless, and if you didn't think it got any more suspenseful. There is a maze involved.

The Call

Tears were shed, hearts were racing and palms were sweating during this movie. It's emotional and thrilling as the incredible Halle Berry races to save the life of Abigail Breslin. Some of the saddest yet truthful movies happen to be some of the best.

Déjà Vu

Last but definitely not least, "Déjà Vu" with Denzel Washington is a movie that will keep your eyes almost glued to the screen. We all experience déjà vu in our lifetimes, but never to this extent.

Each movie has its own qualities, its own story to tell, its own message. Some movies stick with you as time goes on, some you forget, and there are some that you will remember because of the gripping story, how it made you feel, etc.

This list of movies is just that, movies that keep you on the edge of your seat, keep you talking about it for days, and even keep you re-watching. They may have crazy plots, and bizarre endings, but there are so worth it.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
