Ever since the majority of America went into self-quarantine and began practicing social distancing, a lot of negativity and fear began to manifest.
Quite honestly, people are simply going stir crazy from the lack of social interaction and fake news is spreading like wildfire across social media feeds. It appears that March 2020 will forever be known as the start of the infamous "coronacation."
So, Miley Cyrus decided to do something about that. She started an IGTV show called "Bright Minded: Live with Miley" that airs Monday-Friday at 11:30 AM PT.
It's colorful, fun, has a theme song, and is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Miley has everybody's favorite, big-name celebrities co-host the show with her, and they're different every day. Ellen, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Tedder are just a few examples of the star-studded guests who have joined Miley's live videos and spread some positivity to an otherwise gloomy world.
However, Miley has also been bringing smiles to our faces in other ways, specifically with her array of "Hannah Montana" clips that help make the quarantine situation more relatable and light-hearted for people.
After seeing all of these "Hannah Montana" flashbacks, I think we can all admit that we were impatiently waiting for her to bring a cast member onto "Bright Minded." I mean, when was the last time we saw her reunite with Mitchell Musso, Jason Earles, or Emily Osment?
A Miley-Lilly, Hannah-Lola reunion is all the kids who grew up watching this show have ever wanted. A lot of speculation has gone on over the years, though, that this reunion would never occur because the two have had an ongoing feud. Sad, right?
Well, be sad no more, because Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment just reunited on "Bright Minded," talking all things "Hannah Montana" and animal activism. Cue the Hannah-classic "True Friend."
The old friends reminisced about their "Hannah Montana" days and told some hilarious stories about past photoshoots they did, including an adorable one with puppies before they showed us their own cute furbabies.
Overall, the entire segment was exactly what we needed in our socially distant, quarantined lives. If you need a little extra smile right now, go ahead and watch it. And if you were ever a "Hannah Montana" fan, I can guarantee this is the exact reunion you've been waiting for.
It's time for March 2020 to be remembered as the "Hannah Montana" reunion of the decade, not our forced coronacations.
