Atlanta is the birth-place of some of the must influential hip-hop artists and unique sounds that change the future of rap, such as T.I, Future, and 2 Chainz, just to name a few.
A relatively new sound has made it's way from Atlanta and into pretty much every hip-hop song today. This sound I'm referring to is a mixture of perfectly timed rhythmic rap patterns and unforgetable beats that get everyone off their feet, perfected by a family trio, better known as Migos. Migos consists of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff.
In January of this year, they released their new album, C U L T U R E, which had features from DJ Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and Travis Scott. This album features the hit song, "Bad and Boujee (feat. Lil Uzi Vert)", which made it's way to the number one spot on the Billboard Top 100 (you can check this song out below). C U L T U R E is an album that I can listen to regardless of the time of day or mood I'm in.
Migos has mastered their art and talent, even though they haven't been dealt the best hand when it comes to law enforcement. Another thing I love about Migos is that they are able to incorporate their own unique style, but still coordinate their melodies and even outfits, making them perfectly in sync at all times
