Midterms are the second worst week of the school year. It is stressful, you lose more sleep than usual, there is no time to eat, and you don't even understand the classes you're in half the time. There are many things that happen in midterm weeks but one thing is for sure, we're ready for it to be over.
1. When you have three exams scheduled for the same day.
They all must have gotten together and planned this to ruin your life and make you cry.
2. When you look at that first question on the exam.
If you don't understand the first question I would just give up now.
3. When you don't even know where to begin studying.
Because you don't even know what you don't know.
4. When you have absolutely no idea what's going on.
I forgot how to even spell my name. Help.
5. That moment you just surrender to the tears.
Let it out now so you don't cry during the actual exam.
6. When you find all the answers to the study guide on Quizlet.
There is humanity in this world.
7. The library is so packed you have to sit on the floor.
Like the peasant you aren't.
8. When no one in the class understands anything.
There is no hope for any of us now.
9. Turning in your exam and feeling immediate regret.
Because number 52 was definitely B and you put C.
10. Mental breakdown.
No comment needed.
11. When you only have one exam left.
One more, just one more.
12. Actually understanding the material.
Not all hope is lost.
13. Sweet victory of surviving midterms.
It's over. You can sleep, eat and breathe freely now.
14. When you get your scores back.
Anxiety is now at an all-time high.
15. When they're good.
I'd like to thank Google and my mom.
16. When they're bad.
Well crap.
17. When you realize finals are in nine weeks.
RIP to my sleep, social life and eating habits.
As midterm week begins and ends, may the odds, and curve, be ever in your favor.
