18 Stages Of Midterms Week, As Told By 'Riverdale'
@thecwriverdale

As midterm week dawns on all of us unfortunate human beings, we lose so many things. Our free time, our sanity, etc. It might be difficult to believe, but the popular show "Riverdale" offers a multitude of reliability under its dark plot. Please also be prepared for some heavy spoilers.

1. Learning that midterms are coming up without much of a workload on your plate

We all get warned so early, but it never matters at that moment simply because they are all "so far away." Or so we thought.

2. Realizing that you are completely unprepared for them as the dates grow closer

Ignorance is bliss.

3. Saying goodbye to your social life as you know you need excessive time to prepare

Good luck getting out of the library anytime soon.

4. When you start procrastinating because you have very little self-control

Did you really expect anything more of yourself?

5. When you decide to form a study group or get a study partner

Double the trouble, am I right?

6. When you think that studying in a group will make it a lot easier

They need to study, too! You all will get so much work done! Right?

7. When you actually get even less work done because of your decision to study with friends

Yeah, you really weren't thinking, were you?

8. Realizing that midterms are right around the corner and you've still done basically nothing to prepare for them

Back to square one, I suppose.

9. Debating taking the fall into the hole you dug for yourself by not doing anything you were supposed to do.

McDonald's is still hiring. No worries.

10. Coming to your senses and knowing that you can't just give up.

You came to college for a reason. Well, at least you should be here for that reason.

11. Gathering up all of your stress and forced motivation in an attempt to study

You are going to have to get through this anyway you can. You are stressed and miserable, but you are going to try to make that work to your advantage.

12. Getting all of your confidence back after studying for only five minutes

That moment you remember exactly who you are and gain every bit of confidence back in your body is one for the books.

13. Noticing that you've already been working for hours, but you've barely made a dent in what you have to do

Yes, yes there is more. And no, you're not even close.

14. Having a minor mental breakdown

It happens to the best of us.

15. Looking at the mess you made and try to talk yourself into actually working

Maybe you'll get some work done today. If not, are you really that surprised.

16. Changing into an unrecognizable person and getting a lot of work done.

Who even is this? You certainly don't know.

17. Rewarding yourself.

Also very important.

18. Grasping the fact that Midterms are over with and you can finally relax and have fun again.

Life is too short to stress all the time.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
