In fact, in the most recent presidential debate, Donald Trump claimed, "Nobody has more respect for women than I do -nobody," and then proceeded to call Hillary Clinton a "nasty woman." Women are so often degraded and attacked, and I believe that Michelle Obama decided to wear this dress to send a message.
