Here 20 Quotes From Michael G. Scott And Donald J. Trump — Good Luck Guessing Who Said What

Despite your political opinions, you can't deny that Donald Trump has a way with words. He knows how to make you laugh, cry, and cry laughing. As an avid "The Office" fan, I can't help but see the similarities in our current president and the president of paper, Michael Scott. Now, before you click away, angry that I've starting comparing Trump to Michael Scott, let me clear something up. The similarities begin and end with their unique way of speaking.

So whether you're a Trump supporter or simply a fan of Michael Scott, here's a challenge for you. Can you distinguish between the work of a comedy writer and the President of the United States?

Answers are at the very bottom of the article. Best of luck!

"We have the worst laws we have ever seen."

OK, first question, who is "we?" And why is it used twice? Is this an attack on the American political system or the ramblings of a regional manager?

"Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information."

Clearly the work of someone who doesn't know how to do research... Fake news or another internet scam Michael Scott has fallen victim to?

"People love me. And you know what? I've been very successful. Everybody loves me."

I think we can agree that both men have been very successful. Trump is the President of The United States, and Michael Scott started writing his book "Somehow I Manage."

"A person who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10."

Honestly... Michael or Trump? It's hard to say.

"I don't hate it. I just don't like it at all, and it's terrible."

I think we've all said things like this.

"Inventory is boring. In the islands they don't make you do stuff like take inventory. Why do you think so many businesses moved to the Caymans?"

Bored office workers unite! But, who knows? Our president is also a successful business owner.

"The worst thing a man can do is go bald. Never let yourself go bald."

Hmm... neither man is bald. But one is much closer than the other.

"I guess I've been working so hard, I forgot what it's like to be hardly working."

Don't we all, sometimes.

"I have a great relationship with African Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them."

Which dynamic duo: Stanley and Michael or Obama and Trump?

"Ok, too many different words coming at me from too many different sentences."

The English language can be confusing... especially when you don't know any other languages.

"I think I am actually humble. I think I'm much more humble than you would understand."

Someone doesn't quite understand what "humble" means...

"Is there something besides "Mexican' you prefer to be called? Something less offensive?"

This seems a bit to "nice" for one of the choices...

"It's simply beyond words. It's incalculable."

Maybe Michael talking about his relationship with Jan... or maybe Trump's statement on the size of his hands.

"I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke."

Have you?

"Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again -- just watch. He can do much better!"

Obviously he's a HUGE "Twilight" fan.

"Eventually we're going to get something done and it's going to be really, really good."

Is this the government speaking or a mid-range paper company?

"I captivated the guy who captivated 1000 guys."

Who could Trump captivate? Who could Michael captivate?

"Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way."

I think George Bush did this too...

"You know the funny thing, I don't get along with rich people. I get along with the middle class and the poor people better than I get along with the rich people."

So does that mean he's rich... or poor?

"It's one of the wettest we've ever seen from the standpoint of water."

"That's what she said."

Sometimes, in the face of raging political debates, touchy conversations, and harsh exchanges you just have to take a step back and laugh. See the humor in a "humorless" situation.

So next time your uncle, mother, grandmother, or grandfather gets bent out of shape about politics... remember this quiz. And maybe, if you're lucky they'll play along with you.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
