We all have those times when we are down and there is that one thing we know will make us feel better. To me, that person is Michael Scott. No matter what episode of "The Office" I watch, his character will always be there to cheer me up. I have combined the top ten best moments of Michael Scott that will always be there to help me no matter what situation I am in.

1. When Michael Scott Paper Company was created and the episode premiered with Michael listening to lady gaga and then saying it’s Britney Bitch.

When I first saw this, I should have worn adult diapers because I peed my pants.

2. The time when Jane Levenson Gould came to the Scranton Branch because of the issue with sexual harassment.

Then when Michael announced he was stopping all email forwards and “That’s what She said.” Jim decided to make it extremely hard for him not to resist.

The beginning of Season 4 where Michael was listing all the positives in his life and forgot to notice that one of his employees was in the parking lot.

He did save her life because she had rabies and it is much more worse than a little crack in your pelvis.

5. The time that Michael and Dwight had to do “undercover” work to see what companies Prince Family Paper has.

Their sign was licking their lips to know they needed to get out of there. Once their mission was complete, they tried to get away but sadly Michael drove over a piece of concrete and ripped off his front bumper. Way to be incognito Michael!

6. When Michael still had his lease on the Michael Scott Paper Company space, he turned it into a disco café.

He tried and tried to get people to go, but sadly people did not go until he finally put speakers up to the vents so people were tempted to come down. You can’t resist a Michael Scott dance PAAARRRTTTTYY!!!

7. The time when Dwight decided to take his presentation on fire safety to the next level by creating one.

Then Michael went into overdrive and threw a projector out the window! “Today smoking is going to save lives.” Well you almost killed Stanly, Dwight.

8. When Toby was leaving and the new HR person, who Michael had a major crush on, gave Toby a rock.

The rock told Michael to suck it. Let’s just say at the end, Michael gave Toby his watch to cover his butt in front of Holly.

9. The time the warehouse people did not take the office’s safety training seriously and Michael decided he wanted to jump off the roof onto a bouncy house.

He then took a classic line from Saturday Night Live’s Point Counter Point Sketch. Even though he did not jump, he left us with a great message, rehearse your lines a little more so it sounds believable.

10. Finally, the time that Holly did not have an engagement ring on her finger and Michael went crazy!

Some people might “snot” find it funny, but it is. If you did not get the joke in the last sentence you are not a true office fan.

Even though the office has been off the air for a while it is still the TV show I go to when I am feeling down and I want a pick me up. The Office is like a Rolex, it is a timeless piece that you want to have for those special occasions, and it never loses value. So to Michael Scott, thank you for all the great times, and I have watched The Office so many times that I know say the lines before they are said on the show.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
