Uniting cultures from beyond the grave has always been a major part of Michael Jackson's legacy. Cirque Du Soleil's “One” show is a true tribute to one of the world's biggest humanitarians

I once saw another Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soliel show and it was a memorizing performance. My dad had managed to get some really nice seats for the show and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had, especially since it was right after Michael had passed away. The effects were brilliant, the story was excellent and the performers were top notch.

Cirque Du Soliel's Las Vegas show was even better than the first one I saw. Cirque did an amazing job at making Michael's presence a part of the show, and they worked his iconic costumes into the show seamlessly while also adding a splash of vibrant color.

Cirque also included his famous choreography with their own moves and some of the performances were absolutely breathtaking. One of my favorite sections was when they performed Michael's famous ballad “I Just Can't Stop Loving You,” and rather than having Siedah Garret's original famous vocals, they had their own singer, with an amazing voice, sing with Michael. I felt it really brought the song and Michael to life.

My top favorite sections were the ending, which I'm not going to ruin, and the “Billie Jean” section. The build up to the performance was hilarious but their costumes were really cool! They had built lights into the costumes and it was completely blacked out, so it was just the lights as we watched them perform. It looked really neat!

I had hoped I'd make it through the show without breaking down because I felt like it's been long enough that I can handle anything they throw at me but that did not end up being the case. I bawled my eyes out during one of the sections because I felt his presence so strongly. I won't say why or how but I really cried and I haven't really bawled over Michael in a long time. It was another of my favorite segments.

My entire experience was an unforgettable one and it's one I'm happy I got to have. When they first announced a permanent Vegas show, I never would have dreamed of attending, especially since I was in a tough spot when I found out about it. I am so thankful that during the short trip to Vegas I was able to attend because the prices were not exactly cheap but it's well worth it. The show was more than I could have ever imagined, especially since I went in there not really knowing what they would do. It was absolutely stunning and the perfect tribute to a irreplaceable artist.

My only regret is that Michael himself is not able to see all the wonderful tributes they're doing for him. There have been countless amounts of tributes and specials since he passed away but I'm sure if he were here with us today, he'd be truly speechless about the love and respect the world has for him. He was a true inspiration to so many and I feel like Cirque's show was one of the best ways to honor an incredible angel. I hope I get the pleasure of attending this show again someday.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
