Summer (and Spring Break) is around the corner, and a lot of us are getting ready to travel and see our families. Others are going on adventures to other countries. In case you are one of the latter, I recommend visiting Mexico as one of your destinations. Mexico is well-known for the warmth of its people and for its delicious and exotic cuisine. If you are indeed considering Mexico as your traveling destination, I will give you some amazing recommendations on the most cultural and fun places to visit.
First, keep in mind that Mexico is well-known for its warm weather, but don’t be confused; Mexico is not a tropical country. The temperature is constantly changing. Take at least a few sweaters with you, especially for the mornings. Just like the United States, it all depends on where in Mexico you are visiting. Some of the most beautiful and hot places to visit during the summertime are Cancun and Acapulco. Both are known for hosting the most exuberant parties of the summer, hosting guests like American celebrities Mariah Carey and Zack Efron.
If you are into knowing more about the culture of the country, Puebla is the right fit for you. Puebla is known for its emblematic museums and its cathedrals. Puebla is home to the most beautiful churches of the country, as well as the very famous “El Parian” street. In “El Parian” you will find typical regional textiles, ceramics, pottery, copper, and other pieces. You will also find souvenirs to take for gifts. If you are a foodie and are willing to try new things, you will not want to miss “The Street of Sweets," more commonly known as the street of Santa Clara. Trust me, as a native of this beautiful state, I can validate the quality of all the delicious treats like cocadas, drunks, throats, pancakes, jamoncillos, and many more.
Come on, don’t miss out on an amazing adventure!
