Dear Woman of my life,
I see you every day and I'm starting to get tired of your face. You are low-key psycho and you are often very angry. You yell and fuss about absolutely nothing. You get mad because you think I am mad but in reality, I did not get mad until you said I was mad.

Besides that, you are really my best friend. I might not be able to tell you everything but you can tell me whatever and I will try to understand. You've watched me grow from a little peewee to a big peewee. You've changed my diapers and wiped my tears. When times got rough we were there for each other.
As freshman year approaches, I want you to know that I'm going to miss you. Yes, our house is fifteen minutes (five minutes by the way you drive) away from campus but I still won't be home as much as I would if we even lived an hour away. I'll try to be a good student on campus and maintain the best grades possible. I will also try not to be so “introverted" and do something with my roommates & floormates.
I'm going to miss you throwing fits because I was in your room while you were at work. I'm going to miss stealing your Alex & Ani bracelets and then you yelling because I was in your drawer without permission. I'm going to miss you texting me at eleven at night asking for a Snickers ice cream bar and a water.
Thank you for being there when I was sick. Thank you for helping me grow into a better young woman. Thank you for being there when I needed you the most. You may get on my nerves a lot when you scream for no reason, but You are my best friend and I love you a lot.
Thank you, Mom, for everything.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
