Meredith Grey And Cristina Yang Are Actual Friendship Goals

Like, seriously, where's my person?

Everyone enjoys a good romance, but even better than that is watching two best friends conquer greatness and reach their goals while supporting each other as their lives change. Meredith Grey and Cristina Yang are definite best friend goals. The best relationship on Grey's is the one shared between these two BFF's. They are each other's "person."

1. Through the good and the bad.

It doesn't matter if they've been arguing, ignoring each other, or have just had a disagreement in the OR, they are always there for the other if anything else goes wrong. The minute something happens to one, the other forgets about whatever they were disagreeing about and are there for the other faster than you can say "you're my person."

2. They have sleepovers all the time...even if Derek is in the same bed.

Cristina is so comfortable with Mere that it could be 2 a.m. and she will go over to Meredith and Derek's house, let herself in, and climb into their bed and snuggle up if she needs her BFF. Think it's weird if you want. I think it's awesome. Especially since Derek supports them being so close and he doesn't care how much they need to be with each other.

3. Cristina continued to perform surgery on Derek purely for Meredith, even with a gun pointed at her head with the gunman telling her to stop the surgery.

Cristina would have rather been shot then give up on the love of her best friend's life. She was going to do everything she could to save Derek because she knew Meredith didn't want to live without him. It traumatized Cristina and she was so tremendously scared for her life - but never stopped trying to save Derek's life - for her best friend. Talk about BADASS.

4. They never let each other forget their worth or to keep their goals in sight.

The amount of quotes I could use to exemplify how often Meredith and Cristina encourage each other to push themselves to fulfill their potential is incredible. These two women are always on each other's backs - and in a good way. They never let the other forget how awesome they are, nor allow each other to get too distracted.

5. They are always honest with each other.

It doesn't matter if the truth is going to hurt the other's feelings or upset them at the time - they always tell each other their honest opinion. They don't lie to each other to make things easier; they're honest with each other to make their decisions wiser.

This was only five of the many, many examples of their unbreakable friendship. If you can't agree with the fact that Meredith and Cristina are best friend goals - you need to start the series over and pay attention to only them two. THEY ARE GOALS.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
