12 Quotes To Help With Anxiety
TSP

Anxiety is something that I have recently come to be officially diagnosed with, I knew I had it for quite some time but I was always afraid to fully come to terms with it, I was ashamed of myself because I use to think people with it were weaker and that was wrong of me. It is an illness that people can not help, there are many people who struggle with it and it is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. It's something that is perceived as a negative that we can make a positive for ourselves, I am still learning how to deal with it but each dayI have learned to be a stronger person from it, yes some days are harder than others to deal with it but I always do my best to try and get a positive outcome from it. I have a few quotes that help me when my anxiety gets the best of me, so I thought I could share them cause you never know who might benefit from them.

1.) "Take a step back and inhale. You're never given anything in this world that you can't handle. Be strong, be flexible, remember who you are and who loves you."

2.) "The only way out is through."

3.) "Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come."

4.) "Breathe through it and release anything that does not serve you."

5.) "The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow."

6.) "I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.

7.) "Be gentle with yourself, you're doing the best you can."

8.) "Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardship and decide not to surrender, that is strength."

9.) "If you’re going through hell keep going."

10.) "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly."

11.) "At the end of the day, tell yourself gently: ‘I love you, you did the best you could today, and even if you didn’t accomplish all you had planned, I love you anyway."

And I saved my favorite for last

"By being yourself, you put something wonderful in the world that was not there before."

These are just some of the many quotes that have helped me on some of my days that the anxiety try's to get the best of me, hopefully they can help someone dealing with the same situation I am. The biggest thing to remember is to always try your hardest to stay positive and know you can get through it.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
