Men's Fashion inspiration: Winter and Spring 2017 Vibes

It's a new year time for a fresh new start, new beginnings, and within a few weeks, a new semester. Winter is a great season because even thoughI hate the snow as much as the next person, winter is a truly beautiful season and there are some great moments for fashion. It's the time to try new things and change up your vibes. Here are some people, styles, and ideas that are inspiring for the winter season and some of the style and vibes I am going for this year:

Embrace a good simple outfit with neutral colors like in the photo above. This is the epitome of my personal style simple neutral tones and colors and cool neutral boots. Definitely embrace simple colors and neutral tones.

Sometimes simplicity is great as well. Embrace simple things to like a flannel and bomber jacket combo. It's simple, looks good, and is a polished look. Paired together with some black or gray jeans and combat boots, it will look great.

Sunglasses in the winter! I feel like most people think that sunglasses are just supposed to be worn in the spring and summer, but you definitely should wear sunglasses in the winter. There's sun out in the winter too, so not only are sunglasses an awesome accessory, but they can protect your eyes as well.

Definitely wear trench coats and scarves not only to keep warm, but also because they look great too, they can put any outfit together. If you put together a trench coat, scarf and a nice flannel and nice pants or jeans, and you have a great outfit.

Overalls are awesome! Everyone should try them out pair them with a cool shirt or sweater and you have a nice outfit. It's a fun look and if you pair it with a trench coat it would look cool or even with a bomber jacket.

Embrace cool sweatshirts and shirts like this. Ones with big writing and cool prints like these two sweatshirts pair nicely with Nike's, workout pants, or even just black ripped jeans and combat boots.

Don't be afraid to wear an all black outfit! Black is my favorite color and most people I'm obsessed with wear all black outfits. It always matches never looks bad and always looks put together. This outfit is an awesome example of that, and it looks super cool.

This outfit is another great example of a really cool outfit that has a simple and fresh vibe with the all black outfit and tan "Chelsea boots." It's a look I definitely would wear myself because it's completely my style!

Another thing I think everyone should embrace is velvet. I'm obsessed with velvet; shirts and jackets and anything! Velvet is warm and comfortable and looks great too. This maroon velvet shirt is one of my favorite items and is something I plan to bring into the winter as well. This Maroon shirt is from "Forever 21 Men's."

Overall, fashion is what you like and what you are into and it's about making yourself happy. I like certain things and try to embrace different styles, prints, and things that I know will make me happy and make me feel good about myself.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
