Meeting Your Celebrity Crush for The First Time As Told by Hannah Montana

Getting a meet and greet pass is pretty much the most exciting moment in a fan-girl's life. Your outfit has to be on point, and your hair has to look perfect, but at the same time you don’t want to look like you took hours to get ready, because what celebrity wants a super high maintenance girl? After your first meet and greet you’ll almost feel as if you had a blackout, because you can’t even remember if you actually smiled at the camera or not. But after the second it starts to get a little easier. Here’s what it’s basically like for any fan-girl who is finally meeting their celebrity crush.

Everyone can see your excitement when you receive your meet and greet passes from the Will Call station.

Walking through the doors backstage and seeing him for the first time. Well, the first time off of your TV screen or from the back row of their concert.

Your face when his manager says you can’t kiss him on the cheek.

When the other girl’s in line talk about how in love they are with him, but you can tell they don’t even know the name of all of his songs/movies.

When you watch the girls in front of you take their pictures, and they put their hand on "your man’s" chest…

How you look watching other girl’s in line take their pictures, until you see him look over at the line.

When he introduces himself to you and you forget your own name.

How you envisioned meeting him would be.

How you really look…

When you go up for your picture, but you aren’t sure if you can put your arm around him or not.

When you assume you’re already BFFs since you know virtually everything about him, so why not give him a hug?

When this is like your third meet and greet, so you are totally past the normal picture stage.

When your friends ask how it went.

When you realize that moment was the highlight of your life, and now everything else will be significantly lower…

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
