Can you hear it?

Can you visualize these moments?

Harmonies and melodies sent from the heavens.

Sadè has blessed our ears, eliminated our fears, and gave us confidence.

We are music, we were chosen to be

"Game Changers".

So let the sounds of 222 resonate within your souls and allow you to just be free. -Rahkiah C.

Up-and-coming New Jersey songstress/ song writer Sadè Emoni has been gracefully blessing my ears with her angelic voice since 2016. I'm constantly watching her YouTube Channel, seeing how she is able to freestyle current songs (Sadè Emoni Vibes) and adding her twist to things is just simply amazing!. Once hearing Sadè's freestyles and singles like Deep Down, Only Want You (featuring the amazing Frank Mcfly), and First Of The Month, I knew she was a special gem patiently waiting to let her light shine. Being a force not to be reckoned with, she has been featured on multiple social media/ artist platforms. Taking a leap of faith, she was a contestant on shows like American Idol, Kelly Rowland's Chasing Destiny, and has Interviewed with social outlets such as HYE TV and has performed on multiple college tours. She is definitely no stranger to the music game.

Putting in hard work and dedication into her music has given her the courage to release her first official EP entitled "222". This EP is all about dealing with relationships, finding your inner peace, all while still slaying wrapped into one. This EP is one for the books and can be downloaded through her SoundCloud as well. https://m.soundcloud.com/officialsadeemoni

Getting a chance to speak with this lovely young lady has given me a better insight of who she is and the incomparable artist she wants to become.

Entitling your EP "222" what is the significance of this particular number?

Sadè: This EP is titled "222" for a number of reasons. About 6 months before the date I started seeing 222 every where. 12:22 and 2:22 became the only time I would see whenever I would randomly check my phone. 222 would be printed on truck ads riding on the side of me, my YouTube video would randomly buff at 2:22 so it began to appear all around me. Not only that but my 22nd birthday was right around the corner on Feb. 22nd so it was literally all around me as If the universe was sending me a message.

Everyone will relate to your EP in different ways, but what is the message behind your music? What do you want people to take away from your work?

Sadè: This particular project revolved solely around love. The good, the bad, pretty and the ugly. I wanted to show different phases of love and to shine a light on the many different highs and lows people experience in their relationships. I wanted to show that some situations and people are worth fighting for, putting your pride to the side and fighting for what you want while also knowing the difference between the people that simply need be left in the past.

How was the creating process for you? Were you hands-on throughout the whole process or did you take a step back?

Sadè: I was completely hands on in the creating process. From picking the beats to writing all of the songs all the way to assisting with the mix. I love it this way because I get to decide what I want to put out, what message I want to relay and how I want to relay it.

What is your favorite songs on the EP?

Sadè: They're all my favorite (laughs) that's a hard question but I would have to say "Down Low" was my favorite to write. A lot of the songs were written from past experiences but Down Low was something that could relate to every relationship. No relationship is perfect and everyone will have their perspective of you and your boyfriend/girlfriend but the rougher patches is really something that needs to be left between the two of you. No one is in the relationship with you and your significant other so only you two know what you go through "our little secret, throw away the key and let it go." We may be going through it but that is not a free pass to start tweeting and writing a million statuses on FB about the situation, this is between you and I.

How difficult or easy was the process in coming up with topics and concepts for the songs?

Sadè: It was really easy actually because it was real life. My views, my experiences, my stories.

Was there anything holding you back from releasing your mixtape? Did you have any doubts on fully opening your heart to your fans?

Sadè: I didn't actually. As artist we all put out music and share our thoughts in hopes of it helping someone, encouraging and changing someone's life and/or perspective in any way possible. Although it may be scary for some I was in a safe place because I've had that bad boyfriend before, I've had that broken heart but I've gotten over it so I'm able to express that in songs along with the happy experiences love brings without being affected negatively.

As an artist explain how you have grown from when you first started to now blossoming into an extraordinary Independent artist?

Sadè: Thank you and I've definitely gained confidence from when I first started. Back then I would over think everything and the fact that I'm a perfectionist would just make it worst. I would question if my lyrics were good enough, if the quality of the recording was good and I would also take so many opinions into consideration. This is something I still battle with a little because everyone's opinion is valuable to me, to an EXTENT! I feel like there's something I can learn from everyone so I'm always eager to here feedback but I'm definitely a lot more comfortable with saying "No" or "I disagree" These words flows a lot easier than it did when I first started off because I realized I wasn't pleasing myself when I was trying to please everyone else. Also, I have thicker skin now. I've always welcomed constructive criticism but now I look at it for what it is, constructive criticism rather than just feeling criticized.

What will we expect in the future from Sadè? Also, what is something the present Sadè would say to the past Sadè when it comes to the music?

Sadè: You can expect more music, more shows, more visuals and more love! I would tell Sadé from the past to just release the music and stop over thinking it because a lot of people want to grow with her. I was so focused on being my best ever that I wasn't showing what my best was at that moment. I'm sure people would've loved it and loved seeing me grow over the years even more.

In the end, she thanked me for the interview, but in actuality, I should be thanking her. All of her effortless talent, hard, work, long nights, and early days put into this project! God has truly blessed us with this angelic soul and we all hope to see great things in the future. Go over to her SoundCloud, Instagram, and Facebook to listen and download her new EP you won't regret it!

✨Embrace. Enjoy. Exceed All Limits. ✨

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
