Meet the Reporter: Sara Detwiler

Hey everybody! My name is Sara Detwiler and I am a sophomore at Arizona State University studying Journalism and Mass Communications. I am from a small town in Northern California on the base of the Sierra Nevadas.

I am hoping to go into the digital world with public relations or something of the sort in the future, but I am still feeling my way through life! I love all things food, health and fitness, movies, and just trying to make the most of life.

A fun fact about me is that I have played six sports in my life, and still have fun with all of them today even though I know longer play officially.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
