Meet My Cat: Mrs. Kitty, Who Lives In Lowell

She may live in Lowell, but she'll go wherever there is food. If there is a will, there is a way. In that case, wherever there is food, she will follow.

Mrs. Kitty is the OG baby. Being the first cat we got, she is the queen bee who runs the show. Granted, my parents are neat freaks, so we don't have any pets and probably never will. Lucky, I have been dating an amazing man for almost seven years, and because I buy them treats, toys, and give them love quite frequently, I consider them my cats, too.

About Mrs. Kitty

  • Age: 5 years old
  • Weight: 10.6 lbs
  • Where they were born: In a garage in Crown Point
  • Favorite food: Purina naturals
  • Current location: Lowell, IN
  • Nicknames: Tubby, Kit, Kitty
  • Best friend: Myself and Matt
  • Favorite toy: A black and grey toy with feathers that currently is broken off the stick. She has gone through about five of them!

5 Random Facts About Mrs. Kitty

1. She knows how to open doors! She is a really smart girl.

2. She knows how to do tricks! When we give her a treat, she knows to stand up on her back legs and paw upward at the treat to get it. She is a circus girl.

3. She comes on command to a hand squeeze! If we look at her and squeeze our hand, she knows that we want to give her some love!

4. We love avatar. We are currently teaching her to come by saying, "Yip Yip!" So far, it has been successful.

5. She brings gifts! Her momma was an outside cat, so while they were together she picked up a few tricks from her mom. She is constantly bringing us her toys as if she caught them for us!

3 Places They Love To Go With Their Human

1. She is a nosey girl! She loves to accompany people to the bathroom and be their bathroom pal.

2. She loves to follow us to bed. Whenever we lay down for the night, her favorite part is hopping on the bed and sleeping on her throne of blankets and jackets.

3. She is a follower, not a leader. Pretty much wherever we go in the house, she follows. She constantly needs to know what we are up to! If we go downstairs, she trots behind. If we go in the garage, she begs by the door to try and take her chance to sneak out and see what we are up to. We go upstairs to the living room, she follows and takes her position on the stairs.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
