Most current college students share one thing in common: A childhood consisting of "Mean Girls" reruns.
The cult classic feels almost like an instructional handbook that guided many of us through high school. It taught us the do's and don'ts on how to socially act as a teen, example being that you should probably be nice to everybody and not eat random granola bars. It also gave us many laughs but made high school seem like a horror film fest. And with the mixed emotions "Mean Girls" laid upon us, it gave us an unforgettable childhood memory.
In honor of October 3rd landing on a Wednesday this year, here are 10 "Mean Girls" moments that perfectly describe your college emotions:
1. When it's your first year away from home.
2. When the professor says that participation is 20 percent.
3. When you think you can grab Starbucks at the HUB 15 minutes before class and still be on time.
It's. Not. Going. To. Happen.
4. When someone steals your unassigned, but assigned seat.
5. When midterms/finals end and you kiss them suckers goodbye.
6. When you remember all the teams that lost to PSU.
Michigan still sucks.
7. When your roommate asks how your classes went.
8. When you study but still fail.
9. When you can't afford anymore cute clothes.
10. When winter break finally arrives.
