A few weeks ago I went to the movie theater with my mother to see "Me Before You." I sat and watched the 1 hour and 55 minute film and laughed, smiled, cried, and then smiled and laughed again, and then cried and cried and cried. It is an emotional film to say the least, that has the absence of a traditional fairy-tale ending. The characters are vivid and the story is realistic, it sticks with you. From life, and death, to love and loss it has you question every choice you've ever made.
Emilia Clark who plays the main role of Lou Clark is this quirky, lovable, heart warming young woman who is desperately needing a job. After struggling at the beginning of the film, she ends up being the caregiver to Will Turner, who is played by Sam Claflin, who just happens to be dreamy in every way possible. Will is the other main character who had everything in life. He was a good looking, adventurous man who had everything in his life taken away from him in one freak accident that left him paralyzed in more way than one. Lou and Will both struggle to co-exist, and eventually blossom into a beautiful relationship filled with love, trust, and dependency.
