MCU: Life After The Snap

What will things look like for our might heroes after Avengers: End Game?

MCU: Life After The Snap

Hello, fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe fan here - bringing you another article on possible life after this next movie. If you're like me, and have seen all movies up to date, then you are probably wondering what the heck is going to happen after End Game?

1. The New Avengers

In The Avengers: Age of Ultron, we were to a few new faces; Wanda Maximoff (Scarlett Witch), Sam Wilson (Falcon), and Vision. I would not consider Rhodey to be "new" since he has been with us (kicking some serious ass) since Iron Man.

Since then we have seen several new faces that could very well be sticking around with us for a while - Black Panther, Spiderman, and Captain Marvel just to name a few. While it is still unclear what OG Avengers are going to be around after End Game, or if they will be around at all, it will be interesting having a new set of Avengers. Either way, it will still be a pretty badass team.

2. Stand-Alone Films

Going back to the 'newer' characters of MCU, we have Spiderman, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, etc. While those three are not the only new ones, they are the ones who already have stand-alone movies, with sequels in the talks or coming out very soon (i.e Spiderman: Far From Home).

The big question though is, what about our heroes who have been with us since the beginning? If those contracts are not up, will they be getting stand-alone movies? It has already been confirmed that Black Widow will be having a movie, with an unfortunate PG-13 rating, but what about the others? Personally, I would really enjoy a remade Hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo.

3. Disney+ Shows

Tom Hiddleston, himself, even confirmed the Loki T.V. show coming to us on Disney+, a new network through Disney much like Netflix, featuring more, and new, content for Marvel fans. There have been talks of having a Scarlett Witch and Vision spin-off series as well, which I can only hope is true, so it seems like those who don't have contracts ending soon might still be with us for a little while longer...one can only hope though.

Personally, I have never seen any of the Marvel shows, so I can only hope that Disney+ picks them back up, because too many friends have been broken-hearted because of it.

4. X-Men

Just recently, Disney bought Fox Studios, home of X-Men and Deadpool for the longest of times, so now we can only wonder - what comes next? Since Hugh Jackman has already signed off as continuing to play the Wolverine and Thanos already snapped half of the population to death, how are they all going to fit in? My bet is that the newer X-Men will join whoever sticks around as the Avengers for future projects. With Deadpool, however, will Disney continue with R ratings or drop down to a PG-13 rating?

Bottom line is, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting big quickly and it doesn't seem like they are going away anytime soon. There are many projects in the works and while we may no longer see familiar faces, the future for Marvel fans does look promising.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
