Everyone has that one band that regardless of how old they are you'll blast any of their songs and sing at the top of your lungs.
Music connects us across generations and countries. There are artists out there that no matter what, everyone is singing along to. They're classic and everyone's favorite jams.
This is a celebration of artists that never go out of style.
The Beatles.
The original British invasion, step aside One Direction. You can't make a classics list without the Beatles. I have never meet another human being that can't sing-a-long with at least one Beatles song. Live on Beatlemania.
Elvis.
I contemplated leaving the King of Rock and Roll off the list, but how could anyone leave his scandalous hips behind. Most importantly, my mother may have disowned me if I did leave him off. No fear here, the King is truly a classic and lives on in the many Elvis impersonators. You can't help falling in love with him.
Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons.
The British Invasion couldn't hold back the Four Seasons or Frankie Vallie's voice. The bowling alley inspired name along with being friends with an Italian mobster makes the Four Seasons a whirlwind of a group. Their rise to fame is captured in musical and film form as "Jersey Boys."
No list is complete without the King of Pop and his fresh moves. He is an iconic and a global figure that revolutionized the pop industry and Hollywood. He broke all of our hearts in 2009.
Fleetwood Mac.
Oh, Fleetwood Mac and their many trials and tribulations as a band. Their lives bleed into their music especially with the album "Rumors."I also couldn't imagine a more iconic album to represent them and the decade they flourished in.
Rick Springfield.
He may have been labeled a teen pop artist, but he stands the test of time. His tunes have become a classic 80s go-to. We all really hope that in the end he got Jessie's girl or at least a girl like Jessie's girl.
Bee Gees.
The Bee Gees in the 70s is pure disco fever and their work with "Saturday Night Fever" is the cherry on top. And who doesn't love an all-brother band? As a group they have around 40 plus years of music so pick a decade, pick an album and rock out. Don't forget your disco pants!
Billy Joel.
Billy Joel won over all of us with "Piano Man" and "New York State of Mind." His ability to fuse different styles of music together is what makes him an amazing artist. Grab your uptown girl and cruise around with your favorite Billy Joel tune.
Bruce Springteen.
Last but not least, Mr. "Born in the U.S.A." His songs are an anthem to working-class America. Everything about him as an artist screams extreme and passionate. He lives in the moment and he taught us "glory days well they'll pass you by".
Rock on, my friends!
