For our generation, Floyd Mayweather is known as the greatest boxer today with his incredible defensive style and sharp attacks there isn't any boxer today that is on the same level as him. When some fighters get some media coverage and they believe they are invincible, they start to compare themselves to him and say that they would win in a fight against him. This story is identical with the rivalry that has arose between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather on who would be victorious in a match. Some people say Mayweather and some people say Mcgregor would be the first one to beat Mayweather. In my opinion, they both have different strengths and you need to analyze who is the more skilled in fighting. This is my opinion on this matchup.

For starters, Conor Mcgregor is an MMA fighter and Floyd Mayweather is a boxer, they are two totally different fighting styles. However, since Floyd only has had experience with boxing, if they were to fight in a boxing match my money would be on Mayweather. Mcgregor has great skills when standing and trading shots with his opponent while in the Octagon, but I don't think his boxing skills are on the same level as Mayweather's. If they were to fight in an MMA match, Mayweather would not stand a chance against Mcgregor. That match would pretty much be Boxing vs MMA, Karate and Jiu Jitsu. So if these two were to fight it most definitely would break records fr most watched Pay Per View in history, but it would definitely be interesting to see who is the better man in the ring.
