For those of you who don't know what a Maybook is, you should! I found out about May Designs over a year ago when I was in search of a new planner. In short, May Designs is a small business located in Austin, Texas that makes adorable personalized notebooks that are eco-friendly. These notebooks are also water resistant, durable and small enough to fit into any sized bag. They are perfect for a college student or mommy.

After ordering my planner, I couldn't get enough of them so I ordered eleven more notebooks for the sole reason that they were SO cute. Yes, I have a problem, I'm obsessed. I wanted to put them to use so I came up with a list of things to use Maybooks for and wanted to share in case you're in the same boat as me. Let's get to sailing:

1. Planner

I love to plan. Planning and being organized seems to make life so much easier and more carefree. Maybooks can be used for all kinds of planning! Mine is a bit of a mess, but you get the idea

♥ Life planners

♥ Meal planners

Wedding planning

♥ Academic planners

♥ Vacation planners

2. Lists

How fun is it to write things down just to cross them off? So fun! Making lists makes me feel accomplished and productive. I use my Maybooks for so many different lists! I love to use the dotted inside pages for lists.

♥ To-do lists

♥ Gratitude lists

♥ Grocery lists

♥ Bucketlists

Books to read

♥ Blog post ideas

Christmas lists

3. Notes

I love taking notes, but only when it's in my Maybooks. I love using the dotted pages for my for sermon notes at church the most, but you can also use them for class notes to make lectures less tedious.

4. Inspiration

I love printing out Pinterest photos of house designs and decor and pasting them in my Maybooks to create different ideas and inspire creativity. Here you can see how I used them to design a master bedroom and a home office.

5. Tracker

Just like lists, tracking certain things in your life will help you to feel more accomplished and you will be able to look back on how you're doing. May Designs has awesome inside pages for your notebooks that make tracking things so much fun!

♥ Fitness

♥ Pregnancy

Baby

♥ Budget

♥ Wedding planning progress

6. Maybooks are for kids too!

There are pages for adult and kid coloring as well as handwriting practice. It would be cool to look back and see how their artistic abilities and handwriting develops overtime!

7. Recipes

Keep all your meal ideas in one place!

8. Journaling

Sometimes the act of writing down how you're feeling, diary entries, dreams and aspirations will help you accomplish these things and work on certain things in your life. Maybooks are perfect for this!

9. Prayer Requests

I love writing down my prayer requests as well as when they were answered. This will physically show you how God is active in your life.

10. Quotes/Verses

The purpose of one of my Maybooks is to write down all my favorite bible verses. This helps in memorizing them as well as gives me something positive to read on bad days.

11. Artwork/ Designing

Blank pages can be used for sketching or watercolors or any of your artistic abilities.

12. Scrapbooking

Whatever it is you like to scrapbook, Maybooks are the place to do it! Because they're durable you are able to paste photos or stickers and other fun scrapbooking supplies in them.

13. Calligraphy

I love to use my Maybooks to practice calligraphy and creative writing designs.

14. Gifts

In my opinion, the best gifts are personalized gifts. When something is personal, it makes it more special and memorable. Who wouldn't love to get one of these cute little notebooks in the mail with their monogram on it?! Below is my collection so you can see there's so many options to choose from!

That's all I have for now! I hope you fall in love with Maybooks like I did. You can find them at;

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
