Maybe, you could love me how I love myself one day, if you're lucky.

Maybe one day I'll let you come through one night and spill a little bit of me onto you.

Maybe I'll pour a little bit more of me just so you can sip slowly and taste every ounce of me.

Maybe one night I won't just invite you over for tea because tonight is for you and me to converse

endlessly to this beat of the apple tree.

Maybe I want you to see the light in me as opposed to what I let the others see,

to see if you can accept all the piece of me.

Because maybe there's more than meets the eye and you might just be that guy that has the key to unlock all the secrets of me.

Maybe I've been waiting for you and you've been expecting me all this time?

Maybe time has worked in our favor and we had to experience them in order to enjoy our time for later.

Maybe, just maybe, we're headed in the right direction.
