Matte Is Wack

Matte makeup has gone extinct!

In the world of beauty, matte makeup is being seen less and less. Matte lips have basically gone extinct, nobody wants to have a matte finish all over their face anymore, and in rare instances, people don't even want to have matte eye looks.

There are so many gorgeous alternatives to a matte makeup look. Gloss and shine have made quite the comeback in the beauty world.

Lip Gloss:

Lip gloss is a must have lip product! Because sticking to the classic clear gloss can be boring, make your lips shine with a colored gloss like the ones from Colourpop. With one swipe, gloss can take a makeup look from drab to fab!

Dewy Foundation:

Matte finishes just don't give your face as much dimension as a dewy finish would. Dewy finishes look good on everyone, including all of you oily/combo skinned beauties! A drugstore foundation that I swear by is the L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation.

Highlight:

A gorgeous, shimmering highlight is the perfect way to show off your amazing cheekbones. Swipe a bit on with a fan brush or use a cream and apply with your fingers for the ultimate glow.

Blotted Lips

This was definitely a look made popular by runway beauty. Nonetheless, it is beautiful! Instead of wearing a whole matte lip, you would blot the lipstick to make it appear worn and faded.

Glossy Lids:

Although this isn't a widely used makeup technique, it's still as gorgeous as ever. It just gives anyone who wears it such an ethereal look.

Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
